Terms of Service
Effective: April 10, 2026 | Last updated: July 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Courtside Pro platform operated by Courtside Pro LLC ("Courtside Pro," "we," "us") at courtsidepro.ai. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you create an organization on the platform, you accept these Terms on behalf of that organization and represent that you are authorized to do so; "you" then includes that organization.
1. The Platform
Courtside Pro is a floor lifecycle management platform for hardwood maple sports floor professionals. The platform provides floor tracking, job logging, AI-powered consultation, product catalog access, and related tools for contractor organizations. Manufacturer intelligence is currently an illustrative demo; live subscriber aggregation is not active.
2. Accounts and Organizations
You must create an account with accurate information. Each account belongs to one organization. Organization owners and managers can invite team members. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or misuse the platform.
3. Contractor Terms
Current access: As of this update, eligible contractor accounts can start without a paid subscription or credit card. Available features, usage limits, and pricing may change; current in-product plan details control.
Data contribution: Contributing operational data is part of using the free platform. By using Courtside Pro, you agree that eligible operational data — floor and job records, product usage and reviews, issue reports, and floor-environment readings — may be used in anonymized, aggregated form to build industry insight. Live manufacturer aggregation is not currently active. Your private business data is excluded from this contribution; see Section 5.
Reviews and ratings: Product reviews use structured performance dimensions. Ordinary manufacturer-account access does not permit editing or removing contractor reviews, and review submissions and any subsequent edits are captured in an append-only snapshot ledger. Review visibility is controlled by the platform's current organization-scoped access policies; not all reviews are visible to all contractors. Courtside Pro does not suppress, hide, or deprioritize reviews based on manufacturer requests or relationships.
4. Manufacturer Terms
Intelligence access: The current manufacturer dashboard contains illustrative pre-launch data. If live manufacturer intelligence is enabled, subscriber access will be limited to anonymized aggregate views, and no individual contractor organization, job, or record will be identified. Customer identities, pricing, and crew information are never part of manufacturer intelligence.
Prohibited uses: Manufacturer subscribers may not:
- Attempt to re-identify individual contractors from aggregated data
- Use intelligence data to retaliate against, disadvantage, or contact specific contractors
- Offer incentives to contractors for favorable data entry or reviews
- Share intelligence data with competitors
- Use intelligence data for price coordination or anticompetitive purposes
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense intelligence data
Violation of these prohibitions results in immediate termination and data destruction.
5. Data Ownership and License
Your data: Each contractor organization owns the data it brings to the platform — floor records, job logs, photos, notes, reviews, and imported sensor readings. Courtside Pro hosts and processes that data on your organization's behalf, and database access policies isolate each organization's records so its members see only their own organization's data.
Our license: You grant Courtside Pro a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display your data in order to operate the platform for your organization, and to use eligible operational data in anonymized, aggregated form for industry intelligence and platform improvement. This license survives account deletion only for data that has been irreversibly anonymized.
Private business data: Customer identities, pricing, and crew information stay private to your organization. They are never included in any aggregate, never shared with manufacturers, and never sold.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your raw data at any time. We will process requests within 30 days. Anonymized aggregates that cannot be attributed to your organization may be retained.
6. AI Features
The AI Advisor, Calendar Scan, and photo analysis features are powered by artificial intelligence. AI outputs are informational only and should not be treated as definitive engineering, legal, or safety guidance. Always consult qualified professionals and applicable standards (including MFMA published guidelines) for critical decisions.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. AI analysis is a tool to assist professional judgment, not replace it.
7. MFMA and Standards References
Courtside Pro references MFMA published standards, guidelines, and conformance data for informational purposes. Courtside Pro is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by MFMA or ASBA. References to MFMA standards are based on publicly available information and are provided to support — not replace — professional knowledge.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent data
- Attempt to access another organization's data
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract bulk data from the platform
- Use the platform to harass, defame, or harm other users or companies
- Interfere with platform operations or security
9. Limitation of Liability
Courtside Pro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for decisions made based on platform data or AI outputs. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Texas. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes that expand our rights or reduce yours will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days before taking effect. Updates that correct these Terms to describe the platform more accurately, or that narrow what we claim, take effect when posted. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
The July 24, 2026 update replaces earlier statements — including the prior free-tier commitment and broader aggregation, intelligence, and license claims — with descriptions that match current platform behavior. For accounts created before July 24, 2026, the changes that could reduce your rights — the Section 3 change to current access, the organization-authority sentence in the introduction, and this Section 11 revision — take effect August 23, 2026; the remaining changes narrow our claims or describe existing platform behavior and take effect when posted.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict of law provisions.
