Privacy Policy
Effective: April 10, 2026 | Last updated: July 24, 2026
Courtside Pro LLC ("Courtside Pro," "we," "us") operates the courtsidepro.ai platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. What We Collect
Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account. Organization name, city, and state during onboarding.
Floor and job data: Information you enter about floors, jobs, materials, crew assignments, photos, and notes. This is your operational data.
AI Advisor conversations: We do not store your AI Advisor chats. Questions you ask and the answers you receive are not saved to your account or to our servers, and we have no copy to read. Your chat history is kept only on your device, in your browser's local storage, capped at 20 saved question-and-answer exchanges, and the app deletes it from that device when you sign out; in the rare case where your organization details cannot be loaded at sign-out, the saved history remains on that device until your browser data is cleared. Clearing your browser data deletes it at any time, and it does not carry over to other devices or browsers. Each question, together with the floor or portfolio context needed to answer it, is sent to our AI provider solely to generate the response (see Section 6); your prior messages are not included in that request.
Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the platform (pages visited, features used). We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To operate the platform: Deliver features, process your data, provide AI-powered analysis and recommendations.
- To improve the product: Understand usage patterns, identify bugs, and prioritize features.
- To generate anonymized intelligence: Eligible operational data — floor and job records, product usage and reviews, issue reports, and floor-environment readings — may be used in anonymized, aggregated form to build industry insight when manufacturer intelligence is enabled. Live manufacturer aggregation is not currently active. See Section 4 for details on how anonymization works.
3. Data Ownership
You own your data. All floor records, job logs, photos, notes, and other content you enter belongs to your organization. By using Courtside Pro, you grant us a license to use eligible operational data in anonymized, aggregated form for intelligence products when manufacturer intelligence is enabled. Live manufacturer aggregation is not currently active. You can request deletion of your raw data at any time.
Historical aggregated data that has been fully anonymized (no individual contractor identifiable) may be retained even after deletion of raw records, as it is no longer attributable to any specific organization.
4. Anonymization and Manufacturer Intelligence
If and when we provide intelligence to manufacturer subscribers, we follow these rules (live manufacturer aggregation is not currently active):
- No data point is published unless it represents a minimum number of contributing contractor organizations.
- No individual contractor organization is ever identified to any manufacturer.
- Manufacturers cannot see which specific contractors rated their products, reported issues, or logged jobs.
- Manufacturer subscriber agreements prohibit re-identification attempts, retaliation against contractors, and sharing intelligence data with competitors.
5. Data Security
We use Supabase as our database provider. Organization-record access is governed by database-level access policies in addition to application checks and is designed to restrict records to authorized members. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
6. Third-Party Services
- Supabase: Database and authentication hosting.
- Netlify: Application hosting and serverless functions.
- Anthropic (Claude): AI processing for the AI Advisor, Calendar Scan, and photo analysis features. Each request sends your question or photos, plus relevant context you have entered (such as floor details and notes), to Anthropic's API solely to generate the response. Your login credentials are not forwarded to Anthropic, and AI Advisor requests do not include your chat history. We do not use your AI questions or the AI's responses to train AI models. Anthropic's policies for its commercial API state that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models; refer to Anthropic's current terms for details.
- Geocoding: School names and addresses are entered manually. Typing in the school form does not send that information to a geocoding service. A separate administrative lookup may send a stored school address to the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder to obtain map coordinates. Those coordinates are stored with the school record. Some stored campus coordinates were obtained from Nominatim (OpenStreetMap data). Where those coordinates are displayed, the app shows © OpenStreetMap contributors credit.
- Visual Crossing: To document outdoor conditions at job sites, a site's stored map coordinates and the relevant dates are sent to the Visual Crossing weather service to retrieve outdoor temperature and humidity history. No customer names, credentials, or floor data are included. Weather data provided by Visual Crossing.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising networks. We do not share your data with any party other than those listed above, which are necessary to operate the platform.
7. Your Rights
- Access: You can view all data associated with your account within the platform.
- Correction: You can edit your floor records, job logs, and account information at any time.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated raw data by contacting us at hello@courtsidepro.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
- Export: Data export functionality is planned. In the interim, contact us for a data export request.
8. Children's Privacy
Courtside Pro is a B2B platform for sports floor professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
